JEGS 555-405231 SSR-III Ready-to-Run (RTR) Pro-Series Distributors
The SSR-III RTR Pro Series Distributor is engineered for maximum ignition performance with a 7.5-amp rated dwell control circuit, delivering 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil, while generating 46,000 volts from the coil to the plug for powerful and consistent spark delivery. Designed for precision and reliability, it features a single-stage rev limiter, which is easily set by grounding the tachometer lead at half the desired engine speed. The tach lead outputs a 25% duty cycle square wave signal, ensuring compatibility with multifunction tachometers and most aftermarket EFI systems. For improved hot restarts and reduced strain on the electrical system, a fully automatic start retard provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking, which is fully dialed out by 300 RPM. Built for durability, the digital inductive control module includes reverse polarity protection, while the isolated grounding system ensures a stable ground connection even if the distributor body isn’t in direct contact with the engine block or intake manifold. With its high-output performance and advanced features, the SSR-III RTR Pro Series Distributor delivers exceptional ignition control, making it the perfect choice for demanding applications.
