When using these tachometers or speedometers with JEGS 2 5/8 in. or JEGS 2 1/16 in. Gauges - upgrade those gauges to LED lighting (use LED bulb 555-41210). This will provide the same style look for night driving. Speedometer works with most Hall-Effect or Magnetic Pulse sending units that meet the following conditions:
- Pulse range generated proportional to vehicle speed.
- Signal with minimum 3V peak to peak signal - typical for 3-wire Hall-Effect and 2-wire vehicle speed sensor outputs.
- 4,000 to 200,000 pulses per mile (8,000 to 16,000 is typical).
