The 5 spoke wheels offered by JEGS in the Sport Star line offers more than one advantage. The first benefit is providing similar looks to other manufacturer wheels without the high price tag, providing very good value. JEGS Sport Star Wheels also provide classic race looks with a polished finish and five spoke design on many cars and trucks.
How To Install JEGS Sport Star Polished Wheels
The first step in installing JEGS star wheels is mounting tires to them. This requires a tire-mounting machine or tire changer. The wheels and tires also need balanced to prevent vibration while driving. Ideally, the balancing should be done so that the wheel weights are installed on the inside of the wheel, hiding them from view. Next, the correct size lug nuts need to be used, matching the vehicle's wheel studs and with an acorn / tapered / conical style seat. The wheels are then torqued in a "star" or "cross" pattern that evenly tightens them down. Depending on the wheel stud size, the torque specifications will change.
