Took me a minute to compress and remove the shock from my Sequoia and another minute to install the new strut on the spring. Great investment if you like to do the work or your own cars - like me, or even for a professional garage.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Returns and Refunds I bought a strut spring compressor and received the it within 3 days of ordering it. Unfortunately the compressor was defective and I had to return it. Jegs was very easy to work with in the return process and provided me with a fedex return label. They were going to send me another one once they received the broken one. The compressor was now on back order so I waited a few days. I called them on the day that they said it should be available but it was not. I needed to get the job done so I had to go with another company. Jegs immediately refunded my money. I am very pleased with their customer service even though I was unable to purchase from them. I will definitely be calling them for any future needs.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks amazing wanted a safer alternative to doing struts.. this seemed to be the best of pick in this price range.. i looked at many of theses and the welds and design just seemed on point with this unit. once i had mine in hand and assembled was i right. the welds are all clean the whole thing is a very nice piece even though i haven't gotten to use it yet.. but don't worry it wont stay clean long.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it! So much better than using individual spring clamps (auto parts store rentals). Subaru front springs are notoriously difficult to do, but with proper positioning of the strut, this tool worked great! Minor drawback, I needed to grease up the stand where the bottom portion slides up to compress the strut as the sleeves for the bolts would not roll up the stand and it peeled the paint off the stand. Nothing that couldn't be worked around. Well worth the cost as it only took a couple hours to setup and replace all 4 shock/struts instead of a couple hours just getting one of the fronts done with the rental tools.
