    K&N's 57 (FIPK) and 63 (AirCharger) Series Air Intake Systems are an improvement over simply using a K&N OE Replacement Filter alone. These high-flow cold air intake systems contain non-metallic, rotationally-molded tubes to reduce intake air temperature and sound. Restriction between the air filter and engine can rob a vehicle of horsepower, and K&N Air Intake Kits are designed to prevent air path restriction with an aerodynamic tube that allows a large amount of air into the engine; resulting in more power.

    K&N High-Flow Cold Air Intakes use factory holes/mounts to position the largest possible conical air filter into the engine compartment. The oversized filter produces more airflow at lower restriction and also captures and holds more dirt to extend the filter's service life (up to 100,000 miles) before cleaning is needed. A heat shield isolates the filter from high engine heat and reduces the temperature of the air as it enters the engine to increase horsepower. The air filter is attached to a precision-formed, high-density polyethylene tube that reduces turbulence and accelerates airflow into the engine. High-strength, silicon & reinforced nylon adapters connect the tube to the engine to ensure long-term performance.
