71 Series Containment Seats
Kirkey's 71 Series Standard 20-Degree Layback Road Race Containment Seats will accommodate all head and neck restraint systems, and designed exclusively for road racing, kit cars, and club racing cars. Standard Road Race Containment Seats are offered in 14, 15, 16, and 17-inch hip widths and MIG welded from 5052 grade aluminum with a .100 and .125-inch thickness. The reinforced head and shoulder restraints for standard road race containment seats are vertically adjustable up to 1-1/2" with energy absorbing impact padding on the head restraint. The head style on each seat allows for easy entry and exit from race car. The built-in. reinforced shoulder restraints will accommodate all five or six-point seat belts. Each seat includes molded rubber inserts for all seat belt openings.Note: Seat covers are sold separately. Each 71 series containment seat cover is double stitched at the sub belt opening and in all high stress areas.
