How To Use Lizard Skin Insulation, Sound Dampener and Accessories
Depending on the Lizard Skin product, the instructions and steps will vary. In general, the ideal temperature to apply Lizard Skin products is at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit with minimal humidity. If applying more than one product along with ceramic insulation to the same surface, it is recommended to apply the sound control first and then wait at least 24-36 hours before adding ceramic insulation. When using an air sprayer, the recommended air pressure for sound control is 40-60 PSI and 50-70 PSI for ceramic insulation. The recommended thickness for the product is around .5 mm. for most products, the drying time is complete between 24-36 hours, depending on humidity and temperature.
