MSD Ignition Coil Current Booster Ford COP

Specifications:
I just want to make sure it'll fit my 2006 4.0 v6 explorer. The website says so but only shows the v8 options under the product fitment tab. Does this 8740 ignition kit fit?
With the installation of this MSD 8740 Ignition system will this eliminate the need to have my Ignition key programed with the factory vehicle security system?
