    Standard Tension

    Ring set for a single piston

    Mahle pioneered the use of piston ring simulation & computer development to design rings that provide "free" HP by minimizing friction. Their ultra flat ring flanks maximize ring-to-piston sealing.

  • Top Ring: Plasma moly-coated ductile iron (barrel shape)
  • Second Ring: Cast iron (reverse twist)
  • Oil Ring: Low or standard tension
  • Complete sets except #644-3908MS15-1, #644-4035MS-15-1, and #644-4065MS-15-1
