There are three little dots on the top surface. Are those to allow coolant to pass through until the engine gets up to temp? Have an electric water pump with no bypass and worried about deadheading until thermostat opens.

    Asked by: wjzzer
The Milodon 697-16405 thermostat has small holes to allow the coolant to pass until warm up.
