Mopar Performance Purple Shaft Camshafts, which are no longer purple, have been engineered exclusively for Chrysler production engines.

JEGS Easy Kits are designed by JEGS professionals so you get all the parts you need. Camshaft & Installation Kits include camshaft, tappets, cam change gaskets, engine assembly lube, and oil supplement. This supplement is needed during camshaft replacement because most oil doesn't have the proper additives to protect flat tappet cams & lifters.

hi,i see in the specs that this cam requires valve springs, what part number springs can be used,i would like to stay with the mopar performance line if possible,or are the stock springs good enough to use?thanks

    Asked by: newfer
Mopar Performance recommends spring p/n 312-P4120249, you'll need to order 16 of them as they are sold individually. Others have had luck with the Comp Cams springs p/n 249-901-16.

Yes, this will work, as long as your original springs are in good shape they should work fine.

Will this cam work with a 96 360?

    Asked by: Army15T
This cam can be used in the '96 block as long as it will be carbureted and not fuel injection. Also, an AMC lifter must be used.
