Bottles are bottles,
the Advantage lies with NX's Bottle Valves!
NX nitrous bottles feature a tough and attractive powdercoated finish. Includes the billet aluminum 'Lightning 45' or DF-5 bottle valve.
The NX 'Lightning 45' bottle valve flows great, weighs less and looks amazing. The new and improved 'Lightning 45' bottle valve features, a huge 5/8'' siphon tube, a high lift stem assembly and a 45-degree outlet for the ultimate in flow and horsepower production. This bottle valve features a direct flow path with ONLY one 45-degree turn to the outlet and a consistent inner diameter which provides outstanding laminar flow and eliminates any chance of those power robbing gaseous bubbles from developing. The 'Lightning 45' valve also features a built-in gauge port, a high flow push port and weighs less than old school brass bottle valves. The 'Lightning 45' comes standard in many NX nitrous systems and is also available separately as an upgrade for your existing bottle. The new 'Lightning 45' bottle valve features a female -06AN O-ring discharge port in the valve body. The 'Lightning 45' bottle valve includes a -04AN bottle fitting.
NX has created the bottle valve against which all others will be judged. The Direct Flow 500 (DF-5), equipped with .500'' orifice and a direct flow, straight through -08AN male fitting design, is capable of flowing over 2,000 nitrous horsepower. Furnished with a 5/8'' stainless steel siphon tube.
