2168 - ProMaxx Performance Small Block Chevy Aluminum Cylinder Heads is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good heads for the price /#4 exhaust valve leaking Good looking heads for the money, they perform well, But I did have a problem with #4 exhaust valve leaking, could not get it to seal , had to remove it and lap it in. Also dowel pin holes were too tight not allowing head to seat well on deck surface.

Are these heads compatible with a 1987 or newer 5.7 liter, l98, roller motor? Also, would you happen to know that since this is a factory roller motor, is it compatible with a hydraulic flat tappet cam?

    Asked by: GregoryWayne
These heads will work, but will need a valve spring change and you will need to use an early style intake manifold.

can you reach over 430 hp with these heads, do you know what roller cam will fit these heads, also do you get both cylinder heads for 843.99?

    Asked by: fello
This is a pair of heads and yes you can make more than 430 HP with these. This is the limitation of your cam choices - Max. Valve Spring Lift - .575" Hydraulic Flat Tappet
