    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional quality and works for 09+ Ram 2WD I have a 2012 Ram R/T lowered 2”F/2.25”R and I tow or haul my track bikes a lot. I needed a way to stiffen up the rear suspension to prevent the occasional bottoming out of the rear axle and this shock is the perfect application. It has 18 dampening settings and I found setting 4 to be close to stock firmness. This gives me a large range of added firmness I can adjust into the rear shocks to eliminate the rear suspension collapsing under abrupt highway bumps. Also, manufacturer does not specify that this shock works for the Gen 4 09+ Ram RWD, but it does. Perfect fit. The Ram rear shock upper mount presents a challenge accessing the top nut. I cut an open end 21mm wrench down to 4 inches long and was able to reach up there with ease and loosen the top bolt without removing wheels or inner fender liner. No jack, no jack stands, no wasted time or extra steps... just reach up there and loosen the bolt as there is just enough room to get the bolt out of the mount and vehicles rest on their springs so removing a shock will have zero safety issues if you leave the wheels on. Hope these tips help as most turn this into an invasive process. I was done in 30 minutes :)
