The PRO15 helmet was designed to be the go-to helmet for open cockpit racers. The aerodynamically designed helmet features a chin spoiler to help keep the helmet in place while racing, and the expertly designed aerodynamic channels on the top and sides of the helmet provide excellent air direction and minimal air resistance. The PRO 15 helmet exceeds the Snell SA2015 testing requirements. The Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) shell is hand laid to achieve a balance between light weight and affordability. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are mated to the shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. An expanded polystyrene liner along with the blended Nomex® interior provides superior comfort and a proper fit. The low fog face shied is a polycarbonate construction, and provides extended peripheral vision. The pivot hardware is a high strength aluminum alloy. The eye port gasket is made from high grade soft silicone to form a perfect seal every time, which helps keep dust out. The PRO 15 also comes equipped with rear exhaust vents, which use the air passing over the helmet to draw out heated air to keep the driver cool. The shell has M6 Threaded inserts already installed so you can easily attach your HANS/HNR anchor posts (not included).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worth the money but.... I'd say it is a good value for the money but you definitely get what you pay for. In my opinion the finish is cheap. Very little padding and not the most comfortable. I'd say it's equivalent to a "Built" motorcycle helmet from Cycle Gear. Things I liked about it was the Nomex interior, price for the SNELL safety rating. I was going to keep it based on me using it for 1/4 mile drag racing and it only being on my head from staging to the end of track, 5 minutes a shot but I opted to exchange it for the G-Force GF-3. I'm hoping the $50 difference will get me a little more comfort and better finish then this helmet. Safety they both have same SNELL 2015.

Are any of these helmets available with a 2017 approval sticker

    Asked by: Boone441
No, the 2015 spec is the latest available. We will not see a new spec come out until 2020 for helmets.
