    SFI 16.1 Clubman III Harnesses

    Specifications:

    Manufacturer's Part Number:
    92152PUB-V

    Now made in the USA!
Schroth has released the Clubman Belt with one aim: Provide a superior harness for people needing a lower-cost belt. This was accomplished by using cheaper adjusters and only one configuration.

What is the difference between this and the next level up "Profi" belts?
Adjusters and Options. The adjusters in the Clubman belt are the heavy, bulky steel adjusters that are common on competitor restraints. They're not as easy to use and add weight to the harness. They are, however, cheaper and reduce the harness' overall cost. As far as options, the Clubman is only offered in a few configurations. This streamlines Schroth processing, and the savings is passed to you.

Why would you want this belt?
Mainly cost. Drag, circle track, and other racing bodies must have SFI 16.1 approved harnesses. While other restraints are SFI Approved, this rule requires that restraints be replaced every two years. Replacing a $300-$500 restraint every two years gets pricey.

To that end, Schroth has come up with a solution to the problem. Here is a belt that meets all the same stringent specifications that Schroth's other belts do (In addition to SFI 16.1, this belt also meets FIA approvals).

Please Note: The pictures show an anti-sub strap with one bolt-in and one snap-in end fitting. This was a prototype belt that was used for a trade show. Standard belts ship with either bolt or snap in hardware. By selecting Bolt or Snap Below you will change both the lap and sub hardware. If you need your Anti-sub straps to be different attachment points than your Lap belts, you will need to purchase additional end fittings to swap out.

Does it come with eyebolt hardware?
