Stopping You Since '59!
Simpson Drag Chutes hang on some of fastest and quickest cars on the planet and they depend on Simpson chutes to get them to a halt, safe and sound. Over the years, Simpson has taken their experience and expertise in the art of parachute manufacturing and developed a couple variations of their crossform design chutes. The different sizes available are intended for a class of cars traveling at certain speeds. Simpson's Air Boss handmade 8-foot and 10-foot canopy drag parachutes deliver enough stopping power for most drag cars that reach up to 200 mph.
The Air Boss features a pneumatic launcher that ejects the canopy from the chute pack which allows the chute to blossom in a shorter distance than traditional spring loaded pilot chute designs. Complete chutes come with a black pack, black pilot chute and choice of Black, Blue, Red or Yellow w/JEGS logo Chute Canopy. Release cable and accessories available separately.
