Polymer In-Line Electric Water Pumps
Whether you are looking for additional water flow to cool your street rod or are racing in the 24 Hours of Lemans, you can count on EMP/Stewart Components products!
Specifications:
Stewart Components has developed in-line electric water pumps with unique features and benefits. Weighing less than 5 pounds and measuring 6'' long with a 4-1/4'' diameter, these pumps have
single speed flow up to 55 GPM.
The electronic control box can be mounted remotely using the prefabricated harnesses sold separately. The pumps can be used alone in many applications or as a booster pump for vehicles that experience overheating problems in low RPM situations.
Because mechanical water pump speed is directly linked to engine RPM, overheating can become a major problem while in parades, cruises, or stop-and-go traffic. An in-line booster pump solves this problem
by working with the mechanical pump to create constant added flow to the engine block. These pumps have been proven to increase flow by more than 300% at idle.
Features
Lightweight Polymer with 1-1/4'' or 1-3/4'' slip-on inlet/outlet ports
Is this pump supposed to run continously or can it be shut off. That is, will the water flow through when off with flow from the stock belt driven pump
