TCI's Street Rodder Transmissions are an economical choice and ideal for vehicles with engines producing up to 525 horsepower. Street Rodder transmissions are designed with a TCI automatic valve body that contains a valve body improver kit. This fully automatic valve body retains the stock shift pattern, yet provides you with a firmer shift (not too harsh). For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kickdown components must be connected.

The Street Rodder transmission features: special clutches and bands, improved lubrication system, chrome-plated, TCI logo transmission pan, increased thrust capacity, more torque capacity with less slippage, as well as being TCI factory blueprinted, inspected and dyno tested. TCI's high standards ensure that you can expect dependable and long-term performance.

Note: Speedometer drive gear and driven gear not included.

JEGS Easy Kits are designed by JEGS high performance racing professionals to help you get all the performance parts you need for your race car, hot rod or truck.

You will need to get a C4 bellhousing to work with this transmission, your FMX bellhousing won't be compatible. Part Number: 890-513300

Note: Be sure to closely review the torque converter application charts to help ensure proper fit. In case of custom and unusual applications, it is wise to contact the Jeg's tech line for a part number (1-800-345-4545). Due to the many differences among car models, some TCI transmissions do not come with a shift lever or linkage. It is advisable to retain and use the original shift lever. Exchanging transmissions may cause the speedometer to read differently. It may be necessary for you to change, speedometer gears for your application. Transmissions do not come with dipstick or crossmember mount. Transmission pan bolts may loosen during shipment. Be sure to check torque of pan bolts during installation.
