Gas Ports Improve Piston Ring Seal
Total Seal Gas-Ported Piston Rings will maximize your engine's horsepower without the use of gas-ported pistons. Using these rings will add strength to your piston that it would lose if ported. The continuous ring movement allows for consistent cylinder pressure distribution to ensure that the cylinder wall wears evenly by eliminating hot spots. The moly-coated top ring, cast-iron middle ring, and stainless-steel oil ring work together to reinforce the piston and eliminate gas combustion leakage. The ability to run a thinner, lightweight set of rings with strategically designed horizontal slots improves ring-to-wall sealing by routing the pressure to force the ring outward. Available in your choice of various bore and ring sizes, these gas-port top ring sets are ideal for street use, race applications, and mild levels of nitrous or forced induction.
