9223 - Trans Dapt Performance Products Engine Oil and Transmission Dipsticks is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from dip stick I bought this dip stick Part#9223, for a 1970, Ford 351C engine. I went to install it and it doesn't fit correctly. When I fit it in block and fasten it to the cylinder head, the O-ring retainer on the dip stick housing is about 3/8" or more above from the O-ring in the block. There is no way I can make this fit correctly. I have the Ford OEM dipstick and when you compare the two, side by side, the mounting tab on this dipstick was welded on at least 3/8" to low. I tried posting pictures, but I couldn't.
