    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very quiet I got this compressor to replace a smaller one, and because it is rated for 200psi, and had a relatively high cfm rating for it's size and current draw. It is connected to a 2.5 gallon 200psi tank, with a pressure switch that turns it on at 165psi, and off at 200psi, and is being used for an air suspension system. This compressor is incredibly quiet, and the air filter is easily remotely mounted if conditions require that. It also came with some mounting hardware, and short section of wire with a fuse holder and fuse. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because I haven't had it long enough to verify durability. So far, I'm very pleased with the compressor, and at this point would recommend it. Jegs had the best price, and it showed up within the quoted time-frame.

    How is it powered?  Can it be hooked up directly to a car battery for power?
