The JEGS LS Valve Cover Breather Assembly replaces the factory oil fill tube on the passenger side OE valve cover. This breather functions to vent accumulated pressure in the crankcase and to reduce oil temperature. This will result in increased engine oil life and possibly prevent a failed engine seal resulting from excessive crankcase pressure. The clear anodized billet breather base features a machined bayonet type lock which attaches securely to the valve cover and includes a positive O-ring seal. The breather top is chrome plated steel. Filter element is included.
