The Monte Carlo goes for a test drive in stock form. After returning to the shop, the suspension and drivetrain are removed to make way for their high performance counterparts. By the end of the day, the QA1 Level 3 Suspension and Currie G-Body Complete 9-inch Crate Rear End are installed. The UniSteer Rack and Pinion Steering Kit is bolted in place and the Baer Brakes are hung on all four corners.

The ATK 383ci 500hp engine is dressed with some All American Billet bling before being mated to the JEGS Torque Converter and Transmission. Once that is complete, its lowered into the Monte Carlo's engine bay and bolted down.

The Baer Brakes Remaster Master Cylinder and Champion Radiator Cooling Module are installed; While the FiTech Go EFI Classic 600 Throttle Body and Fuel Command Center 2.0 find their new home under the hood.

The headers and exhaust system are tucked into place; while much of the day involved plumbing, wiring and hooking up systems that were installed over the previous few days.

After replacing just about every mechanical part on the Monte Carlo, all the little things that need attention add up into a very long, 18-hour day. But in the end, the Monte Carlo rumbles to life and drives out the door!
