AC Delco Conventional Spark Plugs are precisely engineered and manufactured to provide everyday reliability and efficient performance.

Available for most older vehicles, AC Delco Conventional Spark Plugs feature:
  • A copper-core center electrode that helps provide improved heat transfer to the tip, giving you the reliability you're looking for while improving its resistance to low-speed carbon fouling
  • Hot-tip insulator heats fast and fires hot
  • The nickel-chrome alloy on the ground electrode and center electrode sheathing resists wear from spark erosion and the corrosive environment of the combustion chamber

  • R45S - ACDelco Conventional Style Spark Plugs is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Right price, good service, right parts Very quick turnaround. Did a good job of making good on a previous part that USPS somehow lost (hope they got their money back).

what's the difference in plug with #5 heat range versus plug with #3 heat range. How do you determine what plug is better. I have "57 Chevy truck with 383 motor with a high lift cam (520 lift).

    Asked by: Lairy
you have to keep the heat range in the self cleaning range, so the higher the compression or more accurately the higher the cylinder pressures the colder the plug you need because of the amount of heat it will make or you will cause self ignition. but you also do not want to go too cold or you will have fouling of the plugs. so in your case, 10.5-1 & up use the 3's. 10.4-1 and down use the 5's.
