    Looking for a HEI for my original 1967 Chevelle SS 396. Would like to replace the stock ignition system with this unit. Any reason this would not work with the factory tach?

    The vacuum advance is adjusted by using a 3/32 hex key. The vacuum hose must be removed and the adjustment is inside.
