Advance Adapters 50-2501 Features:
- Our GM 700R-4 adapter to the Jeep Borg Warner Quadra-Trac transfer case is 1.00” in length. The overall length of the new combination is identical to the TH400 assembly that is being replaced. Our kit will include a adapter plate, spud shaft, bearing, snap ring, gasket, o-ring, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- The original Quadra-Trac 4wd adapter housing must be retained.
- Transfer Case
- The adapter assembly fits the Jeep BW-1339. This is the original Jeep Quadra-Trac. This Borg Warner transfer case was introduced into the Wagoneers and trucks for the 1973 model year and lasted through ’79 model year. If found it’s way into the CJ-7 line from 1976-79 as an option. It’s an aluminum case, chain driven, full-time 4wd with a right-offset rear output.
- Transmission
- This kit is designed for exclusive use with the 4wd 700R-4 / 4L60 / 4L60E manufactured thru 1996. The overall case length of the transmission is 23.375”, has a non-removable bell housing, and a 4 bolt square rear case. Late model 4L60E automatics will have a removable bell housing and a 6 bolt hex pattern rear case. The late model automatic will require an additional to work with this kit.
