Advance Adapters 50-3400 Features:
- The GM Muncie 4 speed adapter to the GM NP205 is 6.00 in.� in length. The adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy and the adapter has a provision for a rear transmission mount. This adapter kit includes a adapter housing, new M21 / 22 output shaft, NP 205 input gear, bearing, gasket kit, NP205 gasket, seal, fastening hardware and adapter instructions. Some machining is required on the NP205 transfer case
- Transfer Case
- The NP205 originally coupled to a SM465 or TH350. The NP205 is a part time, cast iron transfer case with a figure eight front bolt pattern configuration. This assembly was used in 1971-79 vehicles. The new adapter kit will require the installation of a new 32 spline input gear.
- Transmission
- The GM Muncie M21 / M22 can be identified by an aluminum case that is 10 in. long and a side cover with 7 bolts. The new main shaft included in the adapter kit will fit all models 1963 to 1974. 1963 models will require addition parts.
