- The 4 Runners 2003 & up with an automatic 4.0L engine:
- These are an easy upgrade with this adapter to the Atlas transfer case. we knew it wouldn't be long before the requests came in for drivetrain swaps. Although it does require a bit of modifying, the option of both the Atlas 2 and 4 speed transfer case is now available to fit to the stock automatic transmission. This kit comes with an adapter plate and spud shaft. The shaft allows the transmission to bolt up to the Atlas 23 spline transfer case. We recommend using a cable shifter due to the center console configuration in these vehicles.
- The Atlas requires a short 23 spline input on both the 2 & 4 speed t/c's.
