Advance Adapters 712530 Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a GM Engine to the Scout T-18, T-19, T-98 4 speed manual transmission. The adapter plate is 3.750 in.� in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, 4.686 in. bearing retainer, pilot bushing, throw-out bearing collar, throw-out bearing, clutch fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Note: The bearing retainer included in this kit measures 4.686 in.� in diameter and fits GM Bell housing with the same dimension. If you have a GM Bell housing with a 5.125 in.� index hole, we offer an index hole reducer p/n 716078. The reducer is sold separately.
- Note: The throw-out bearing included in this kit requires a Centerforce 11 in.� pressure plate p/n CF165473S. A Scout clutch disc is retained when using this adapter kit.
- Transmission
- This adapter plate kit is designed for exclusive use with the Scout T-18, T-19, T-98 4 speed manual transmission. These transmissions were used in 1969-82 model years. These Borg Warner 4 speed transmissions have a long 10-1/4 in.� stickout with a 1-1/4 in.� 10 spline input shaft. The Scout transmission can be identified by a case length of 11.875 in.�, and a casting number of T-18, T-19, 1301 or 1309.
