Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor design This fitting was supposed to adapt my new Becool radiator to the factory engine oil cooler fittings on my 2004 Hummer H2. The factory fittings use an o ring to seal. This adapter has the correct threads but no land for the o ring to seal. I have had no luck getting it to seal without leaking. If you use the factory o ring the o ring gets cut and smashed out the edge of the mating surface. I tried teflon tape but because it is a strait thread that did not seal either. I tried using a crush washer but because the factory fitting is necked down for the o ring once the crush washer fits past the threads it is so loose that it wil not stay centered as you tighten it and the flat surface on the end of the adapter is so thin (the adapter is very thin walled) and the flat surface on the factory fitting is thin (not having been designed for a crush washer application) the crunch washer gets off center and bulges over the surface causing a leak.
