I have a 1956 Belair Chevy with 1978 350 motor and 4spd Muncie M21 transmission. Would this motor work for a complete swap out? Also, would the exhaust manifolds work with the heads? I am using the original rainbow style exhaust manifolds.Thanks.

    Asked by: Radtech1
This engine would be an excellent upgrade for your Belair!

can I put a 6-71 blower on this with the right pulley set up with out damaging or will the compression be to much.

    Asked by: vinchenze
If a power adder were used on this engine it would void our engine warranty. If you would like to use your 6-71 take a look at our part number BP38316CT1 or BP38317CT1.

I’m thinking hard of purchasing this motor for my 94 Silverado it’s a v6 truck now. My question is will this work in my application and what will I need. Thanks!

    Asked by: Cody147
If you are replacing a 4.3L engine this will work. You will need the electronic wiring harness for the V8 to make this work properly.

Will any modifications need to be made in order for this engine to fit in my 1978 Pontiac Firebird with a manual transmission?

    Asked by: HotRod41
It will depend on the engine that was in the vehicle previously. If you had a small block Chevy in there previously it should be a direct swap.

If you are required to change the oil pan for your application that will not hurt or void our engine warranty.

I have a 73 chevelle that has a 5.7L engine with an automatic transmission. Will this kit be the only thing I need or will I need something else with it to complete the install?

    Asked by: Bmcvey444
Between this engine kit and your parts off of the old engine you should have just about everything that you would need to put this engine into your Chevelle.
