This aftermarket intercooler does not require a CARB EO# because:
- It is functionally identical to the original equipment part it is replacing
- It does not degrade the emissions performance of the vehicle
- It will be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
- It does not modify or alter any emissions control system components
It does not result in the vehicle exceeding applicable emissions standards. It is still the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure that the replacement intercooler is compliant with all applicable emissions regulations. It is also their responsibility to ensure that it is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
