2DI03L - Car Chemistry Collector Inserts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut noise down I made a prorotype out of a can and some random 1.25 pipe, inserted into a single 3" exhaust. That worked fine, so I bought this. Not shown are the perforations in the large disks; that made it too loud and pretty ugly sounding. However, I welded in the supplied interior end cap (the solid one) and that reduced the noise to an acceptable level. It still has a bit of an odd sound, but I can live with it. It's pretty restrictive, but for daily driving it's fine. For track days, I just pull the insert. Used on a Gen 5 3SGTE tuned to 250whp.
