Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Fit! Recently installed this product on my 1967 Mustang coupe- 289 engine. I have to say, it was a perfect fit. One small issue to keep in mind is while this is a 3 row radiator that replaced a 3 row original radiator, the this one is a bit "deeper" than the stock - still fit nicely with clearance from the fan - probably the 4 row would have been too tight ( my car is equipped with factory air so it has the 18" fan). Have yet to try out the actual cooling but it should be a definite upgrade to the stock as the fins are wider with more fin count.

my 67 289 has ac..is this compatible and is an electric fan needed to use the 3 core efficiently

    Asked by: cheezehead
Yes, this will work in a '67 Mustang. An electric cooling fan will not be required but highly recommended to provide sufficient air flow.
