    CC829DP is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1987 Corvette LS1 Swap Working on an LS1 swap in my 87 vette. Being that my LS1 is a mild build, I wanted to make sure I had the cooling system squared away. I went back and forth between this radiator and a Cold Case, which I’ve seen people use both on the Corvette forums and pages. I opted to go with this one for the fact that I can change the inlet/outlet sizes via the threaded ports, the fact that the inlet/outlet are on the same side, and there is a dedicated steam vent port at the top below the radiator cap. The welds are very nice, and the quality overall is very very good. The radiator fits PERFECTLY in the stock radiator housing. I removed the stock mounted fan in the front, and I’m also not running AC in this setup either, so I’ll have a trans cooler in place of where the condenser is. Regardless, the radiator fits very good and leaves room for additional parts if needed. Only thing that I opted to do was trim out the stock fan shroud, and part of the plastic where the drain plug and lower hose sits. The main fan I went with was a Derale 16inch tornado fan (part 259-16516) which also fits perfectly when mounted. Lastly, to keep the radiator in place I drilled some holes on the side of the radiator housing, and zip tied it on both sides.
