Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Radiator at a Good Price I bought this for my 1988 Chevrolet R30 (Squarebody) with the HD cooling system. This radiator is a bit smaller vertically than my previous, non-aluminum one. I ran into three issues 1) Because the radiator was vertically shorter, the rubber radiator isolators did not make contact on the top so the radiator was loose. I ended up adding a small piece of transmission line hose to fill that gap in and it worked fine. Please note, you should buy the Prothane Radiator Isolators for a BBC JEGs part number 311-7-1712-BL. My isolators were trashed and those delayed my install. I didn't know what the heck these were and you might as well buy some. 2) The upper radiator hose inlet is 1.5" not 1.25" like the factory. That was a pain because there is no hose that works with this inlet. All I did was boil the heck out of the old radiator hose and then force it on to the upper inlet. Problem solved. 3) The Mr Gasket 2471R thermometer radiator cap does not seal on the radiator and I had to return it. That made me sad because I had to return it and it looked great. Great things are: 1) This lowered my cooling temps 70 degrees when towing my boat here in the 100 degree heat in AZ. I ran the truck at 60 mph (TH400) uphill with my 5k boat and AC and the truck ran at 150-160 degrees... incredible. Note I bypassed the internal trans cooler so this adds to how well my temps are. 2) Looks great and performs well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow When I opened the box & pulled it out I didnt know where to set it down . It comes in just about show quality . It wouldn't take much polishing to get it there . I cant wait to put it in my truck . And the price is just as beautiful as the radiator

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good quality but does not fit a 1975 gmc c35 I called the Columbus store and ordered this for my 1975 gmc c35.It was delivered 2 days later. The quality of the radiator is excellent, however it does not fit into a 1975 gmc c35. It was an inch too tall and I would have to modify the top support bracket. I ended up returning it, had to pay to ship it back though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s pretty ok The listing said it’s an “Exact Fit” but I had to do some fabrication work to the upper radiator supports. Also the fan shroud will not fit due to the width of the radiator. It does however keep the big block cool in my 1984 K10.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not hold up in cold weather I have now gone through two of these in my 77 K10. I live in North Dakota and it's sometimes -20° when I leave for work. Both radiators failed where the tank was attached on the passenger side. Both times they started leaking the first time it got really cold. I bought a Frostbite radiator to replace it. Winter is coming fast, so I should know soon if this one is gonna last. If I lived down south where it doesn't get cold I would have loved this radiator. The cold was the only problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT buy THIS I bought this radiator thinking I was gonna have no problems, well that didn't go as planned this radiator has a defect they all leak you don't have to listen to me but I had 8 different ones jegs knows about this champion knows make a simple call to ask before you have to pull the same radiator 8 times before you figure out that its a defect and not you're fault if you have one and wondering why it has a leak but isn't leaking it leaks from either side of the tanks some times big others small sometimes it takes a month or 2 the best one I had it lasted 6 either way it leaks and its not fun the wait time is whats annoying but thanks to jegs they helped me along the way
