12670966 - Chevrolet Performance 350 ZZ4 HO Short Block Assembly is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tuned Port Injection on a ZZ4 I bought a Turn Key ZZ4 With a Tuned port Injection intake that was ported and Polished TPI intake from a 90 IROC Z28 because they only made speed density Motors But for 82-85 in Camero's and fire birds were at there lowest point and in 1986 you saw some 305 engines with the TPI intake and it had a mass air flow sensor in front of the throttle bodys and in 1987 they came out with the IROC-Z28 for the first time with a 5.7 350 with the MAF Tuned port injection. They were about 225 hp but they had a lot of torque. In 1987 Pontiac came out with the GTA Trans AM. They were a little heaver. I think the Pontiac GTA looked better but the I-ROC Z28 was the one to have. They where all the same thing under the sheet metal. Every thing, but there was the FireHawk and a couple more limited production cars. I really didn't like an of the digital dashes of the buttons all over the steering wheel. In 90-92 pontiac made the Speed density TPI 5.7 in the GTA. They weren't the fastest, But if you got all the options like leather seats, T-tops and it was White GTA. Nice Car. If you took that block out and put this ZZ4 350 HO and a TPI, THAT is what I have. IT's FAST NA
