    Chevrolet Performance is pleased to announce the launch of the first crate engine in the LSX family. Chevrolet Performance has combined the heavy-duty LSX block with the production LS3 components. This includes high-flow LS3 heads and upgraded forged dished pistons to keep the compression at 9 to 1, which creates a high-revving LSX376 crate engine that runs on pump gas... a unique platform for any project.

    The engine delivers exceptional air flow capability in a straight forward package even without any power adders. The LSX376 is built without an intake manifold so you can top it with a carburetor or production-style injection system. The LSX376 comes with only a dust cover instead of an oil pan so you can order what is correct for your application. Just one more way to keep the cost down by excluding parts you can't use.

    Race-Bred LSX Bowtie Block - High-Flow LS3 Cylinder Heads - Unique LSX376 Valve covers
    GM Performance Parts takes the LSX Bowtie block and combines it with the LS3's L92-style heads to create the LSX376 crate engine. This engine will be delivered without an intake manifold, oil pan (and other accessories), but can be fitted with either a carburetor or production-style injection system to make it suitable for your street rod, 1957 Chevy or 1971 Camaro.
