    359-CHI565A-5 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1959 impala cold case radiator I purchased this after calling cold case to verify if it would fit in a 1959 Chevy impala. They said it would. I did have to drill a hole in the left and right mounting areas. There are predrilled holes already The top hole and bottom hole on each side lined up with the fan shroud and radiator support well. The center holes did not hence me drilling these holes in the rad unit. Other than that it installed well. The notched corner was the main selling point as my after market power steering gear box was in the way. So this solved that interference issue.

Is the radiator cap included? If not what is the part #. Also is this radiator designed to work with the factory fan shroud?

    Asked by: Lj85
Yes a basic 16# cap is included. However, a nice upgrade is our billet cap cover part number RC100. And yes your factory fan shroud will work with our radiator. Thanks for the questions.

What are the dimensions of the notch ? My steering box extends out quite a ways from the frame. I put the west coast conversion on my car...thanks

    Asked by: Anonymous
I'm not familiar with the "west coat conversion" but CHI565A-5 is specifically designed to clear the popular Gm 500 series power steering boxes. The notch measures 4.625" high and 10" wide. Hope that answers your question Danny.
