    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit to replace stock exhaust Bought this to replace the failing stock exhaust on a 1997 Wrangler w/ 2.5l four cylinder, and it actually fit better than I expected. Nothing magical, just a straight-up replacement in three pieces exactly as pictured. As others have noted, the flange for mating to the manifold is a single slab of steel roughly 1/2-inch thick instead of the formed/stamped piece, and it requires slightly longer studs than are fitted to the manifold. I just tapped out the studs in mine and used two longer grade 8 bolts I had to make it work. The bungs for the two O2 sensors as well as the hangers were in the correct places and worked just fine. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

It is true that the new style collar on the down pipe is thicker and the stock studs in the manifold are not long enough. But, it’s easy enough to punch them out and sub in some longer bolts and nuts. You will have to hold the bolt while tightening the nut now, but that’s easy enough. Minor droning on acceleration but nice and quiet once you get up to speed.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for the Price Bought for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ 2.5L. Only issues were the flange was too big for the stock exhaust manifold but I used a grinder to take it down 1/8th inch and then it mated up well but also had to replace the bolts in the exhaust manifold for 1/4 inch longer. Good as new now.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works some modification some of the welding was in the oxygen sensor threads did not have a tap and die set that was tough I had to grind down the connection to exhaust manifold because the original bolts is too short but I made it work

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a direct fit The piece that connects to the manifold is way too thick. The pipe was also too short for my Jeep even though it says it’s a direct fit. Had to have master muffler modify and lengthen it to get it to fit. Quality is nice but it does not just bolt on

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Careful buying this exhaust! Terrible product. Terrible workmanship and quality control. I had to reweld every single weld. o2 bung was only welded 50% around with huge gap where it wasn't welded. The flared end that connects to the manifold was not cut and flared properly. I had to cut 1/2inch off and re flare the end myself for proper fitment. Factory packaging was minimal and had tears in the box with exhaust falling out. Nothing to protect the ends. I know this is a budget exhaust for my beater jeep and I know it will rust quickly and won't last forever but I expected to at least be able to install it with no issues. Beware of this product. This is all on crown. Jegs did perfectly fine job processing and shipping quickly.
