Perfect fit!
Bought this a couple of weeks ago to install on daughter’s 2019 VW Atlas. Had some shipping issues that JEGS handled to my complete satisfaction! Instructions call for widening frame access hole to insert carriage bolts.
Put bolts in vise and cut off about 3/16 inch of bolt head to fit into the access hole. Used a couple of floor jacks to lift and hold in place while attaching each nut. Bracket holes are elongated which allows easier installation and some side adjustment if needed. Very happy with appearance and fit. Used a 4” rise ball mount which raises the ball to Atlas’ factory hitch height.
Also used Curt’s plug and play wiring harness which requires removal of many luggage compartment panels. End result justifies the effort!
