    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fuel Injection for the masses I bought this kit to replace the Quadrajet on my Oldsmobile. I had the QJet tuned almost perfectly but I was tired of dealing with the choke and warm ups. The Edelbrock kit installed well and the instructions are very detailed. I am not sure about the claims of an 8 hour install, maybe if you just threw everything under the hood with zip ties... maybe. I made a regulator and return style system, so I did not use the power sump kit. The car fired right up when I turned the key and I am now driving the car so the system can self teach. You will need some extra items for most installations. There is no post or attachment included for the throttle cable connection with the kit. The included throttle return spring setup is a little cheesy in my opinion. So far I am very pleased with the kit and I can tell already the car has more power which I wasn't expecting. The car used to jerk a little when going into gear, this is gone with the injection system. Overall the throttle response is very crisp and I only have around 50 miles on the unit. There is plenty of wire and harness included with the kit. All of the connections are weather pack style. The bullet style fuel pump is mounted to the frame rail and is quiet. There is welding required to install the oxygen sensor in the exhaust. A threaded bung for the O2 sensor is included with the kit. I purchased the tablet with the kit from Edelbrock. The app is very nice and the start up wizard is almost fool proof. It asks for the size of the engine and your camshaft duration. The map will download and then it tells you to start the car and set your idle. It's that easy.
