Heat-treated and machined steel retainers and valve locks along with heavy duty valve springs are good for .575'' lift cams. For compatibility with aftermarket parts, these powerful heads use the stock location for intake and exhaust bolt holes and flanges, spark plugs, and valve cover rails.

Tech Tip
To gain more spark plug clearance, Edelbrock recommends using Champion RC Series plugs, such as the RC12YC (P/N 192-49776). They are 0.230'' shorter than conventional spark plugs and have a 5/8'' hex for easier access.
