Victor 24° Pro-Port Cylinder Heads
The Gen II Pro-Port castings feature a thicker deck, additional casting material in the intake runners roof and the push rod holes are deleted.
These unported versions of race-winning Edelbrock Victor Series CNC heads are designed specifically for the professional cylinder head porter and engine builder. Like all other Edelbrock Cylinder heads, Pro-Port cylinder heads are also cast in the USA at the state-of-the-art Edelbrock Foundry with extra-thick walls to allow for custom CNC porting. In most cases, seats and manganese-bronze valve guides are included, but not installed. Please note: These heads can not be used without professional head preparation.
HIP Process HIGH-TECH PROCESS DELIVERS STRONGER CASTINGS
Heads are available with a technique called Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). This aerospace process takes raw castings up to 900° F in a pressurized chamber (up to 30,000 psi) and compresses the casting. The results: an incredibly strong, super dense sand casting that has three times the fatigue life and nearly the consistency of billet aluminum.
