Serious Horsepower, Wet or Dry! The Performer EFI Nitrous Systems are the best way to get a power increase in your fuel injected, late-model street machine. These systems work with your stock ECU for a simple installation. ''Dry'' systems get extra fuel for the boost in power from the stock injectors. The ''Wet'' systems use a direct-port style nozzle to introduce nitrous and fuel into the intake runner. Performer EFI Nitrous Systems include a 10-lb. bottle (shipped empty), nitrous solenoid, aircraft quality steel braided hose, nitrous filler, jet selection, aircraft quality fittings, switches, brackets, and hardware for a complete installation. Wet Nitrous Systems utilize the Edelbrock/Steele Series 1 Nitrous Nozzle to give you maximum atomization with your factory high-pressure fuel pump. The Series 1 nozzle injects a fuel/nitrous mixture, atomized to a fine mist, directly into the intake runners of your manifold. This nozzle is the same one that is used in the direct-port Competition Nitrous Kits.
Dry systems supply nitrous directly into the intake stream before it gets fuel. The extra fuel is generally supplied through the injectors by raising the fuel pressure or changing the duty cycle. Dry nitrous systems are the safest, most reliable way to get power gains, but are limited to the size of the fuel injectors.
