Designed for Ford 429-460 street and high-performance applications with standard or Cobra Jet cylinder heads. Larger cross-sectional area (3.3 square inches) and a taller carb flange than Performer RPM 460 Intake Manifold #350-7166 for compatibility with high-performance and large displacement engines. The carb mount flange accepts both square-bore and spread-bore carbs for Cobra Jet applications.
The First Dual-Plane Manifold with the Powerful Air-Gap Design Edelbrock has brought race-inspired technology to the street, again! The RPM Air-Gap is a dual-plane intake manifold with a dropped plenum divider that separates the intake runners from hot engine oil in the lifter valley. This provides a cooler, denser air/fuel charge for more power.
