FAST's EZ-EFI 2.0 Self-Tuning Engine Control System has been upgraded yet remains easy to use. It doesn't require a laptop or tuning experience; the system simply tunes itself as the driver drives. An 8-injector die-cast throttle body handles up to 1200 horsepower (the most on the market), uses late-model OE sensors for reliability, has ignition timing control, and can run ethanol-blend E85, E98, or E15 fuel (competitors can't). The throttle body flows more air than the first generation EZ-EFI due to an improved inlet, and the new secondary shaft throttle stop adjustment provides even more precise regulation/balance of idle airflow.
Unique to FAST, an integrated fuel pulse damper creates ultra-accurate fuel control. Shafts are supported by needle bearings instead of bushings, and the fuel rail incorporates a crossover for tighter packaging. Hookup utilizes the fewest wire connections available, a premium wiring harness, and sleek mesh loom. The EZ-EFI 2.0 includes an updated handheld control unit with color touch screen, onboard diagnostics LED, and EZ-Test indicator lights. Self-powered through the ECU, the control unit shares the same mounting points as Garmin's Nuvi GPS, thus offering numerous mounting choices.
The FAST EZ-EFI 2.0 works with either generation of EZ-EFI throttle body, multiport systems, and Inglese throttle bodies and is compatible with multiple fuel pump options including in-tank, inline, high horsepower inline, return style and returnless style. Electronic fuel pressure measurement is standard on all kits with EZ-EFI 2.0 throttle bodies, and each one works with a wet nitrous system, providing built-in nitrous timing retard and special nitrous AFR targeting. The EZ-Ignition features an EZ-Solution option, meaning that it can work with most common ignition systems and is plug and play with a FAST distributor or crank trigger.
