Flowmaster's American Thunder exhaust systems are complete kits made for the do-it-yourselfer looking for systems that truly bolt on and fit without modification delivering the added benefits of increased horsepower, torque and mileage over the stock system. Our American Thunder kit for 1998-2002 Camaros and Firebirds with 5.7L V8 is constructed from 409S stainless steel and backed by our Limited Lifetime warranty making it the last system you will ever need to purchase. The 3.00-inch mandrel bent system clamps onto the connection behind the catalytic converter and follows the factory routing back over the rear axle and into a specially designed Flowmaster 80 series crossflow muffler. The dual 3.00-inch tailpipes exit out the back under the rear valence in the OEM configuration and are topped off by full length polished T304 stainless tips. All the necessary parts and hardware are included for a great fitting installation. This American Thunder system will typically produce a moderate interior and exterior sound level.
