Flowmaster's American Thunder exhaust systems are complete kits made for the do-it-yourselver looking for systems that truly bolt on and fit without modification delivering the added benefits of increased horsepower, torque and mileage over the stock system. Our American Thunder kit for 1986-1991 V8 Camaros and Firebirds is constructed from 409S stainless steel and backed by our Limited Lifetime warranty making it the last system you will ever need to purchase. The 3.00" mandrel bent system consists of a single cat adapter (works with the single 3.00" flanged catalytic converter) and mid pipe that follows the factory routing back over the rear axle and into a specially designed Flowmaster 80 series crossflow muffler. The dual 3.00" tailpipes exit out the back under the rear valence in the typical OEM configuration, and are topped off by full length polished 304 stainless tip sections. All the necessary parts and hardware is included for
a great fitting installation. This American Thunder system will typically produce a moderate interior and exterior sound level.
